24 Hours of Le Mans – Renger van der Zande with DragonSpeed

If the list of entrants for the 24 Hours of Le Mans (September 19-20) reveals the name of Felix Rosenqvist on the Oreca 07 n°27 of DragonSpeed, the Swede will not be part of the Sarthe.

Indeed, the protégé of Chip Ganassi Racing will be this weekend in Laguna Seca (California), where the antepenultimate meeting of the 2020 season of theIndyCar. As a reminder, Rosenqvist signed his first victory in the series last Sunday at Road America.

Ben Hanley and Henrik Hedman should therefore be supported in mid-September by Renger van der Zande, who defends the interests of Wayne Taylor Racing in IMSA. Aged 34, the Dutchman is notably credited with two victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and a success at Petit Le Mans.

He also has two participations – and as many retirements – at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 2018 and 2019, already with DragonSpeed, but in LM P1, on the BR1-Gibson.
