24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual – H7: Veloce eSports 2 takes over

The red flag during the fifth hour of the race narrowed the lead gap. And after a top performance from Norman Nato, Stoffel Vandoorne took back control of the event at the wheel of the No. 16.

The Belgian is 7”0 ahead of the n°20 of Team RedLine (Huttu-Verstappen-Norris-Kerkhof) and the n°33 of 2 Seas Motorsport. The top five is completed by two Rebellion cars Williams eSport, namely No. 13 and No. 1.

Note that the No. 4 of the ByKolles-Burst eSport, which was scrapping at the front, was the victim of a technical failure with a steering wheel which relegated it to 14th place, one lap behind.

In GTE, very lively since the start of the race, the Corvette of the R8G Esports Team was delayed by two collisions, including one with the No. 07 Oreca 50 of Richard Mille Racing in distress at the second Mulsanne chicane.

Porsche leads the way thanks to the No. 93 currently driven by Joshua Rogers, but what is worth noting is the return to the leading pack of the Ferrari 488 GTE n°52 of Charles Leclerc-Antonio Giovinazzi-Enzo Bonito-David Tonizza, second in class ahead of two other official 911 RSRs, namely the n°92 and the n°91.
