Adrien Tambay prepares to make his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans June 13 and 14. The former Audi driver DTM will be entered in a Eurointernational Ligier JS P217, a prototype that he already knows from his two participations in ELMS last year with Inter Europol Competition.
“44 years after my father's first participation in this legendary race, I will take up the challenge in one of the Eurointernational LMP2s. I thank from the bottom of my heart Antonio Ferrari (the team manager) for his loyalty and the trust he placed in me”, commented Adrien Tambay.
Patrick Tambay, Adrien's father, has four starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a 4th place achieved in 1989 in a Jaguar XJR-9LM as his best result.
