24 Hours of Le Mans – Ferrari confirms its trios

Ferrari complete poster for the next edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 16-17). As we mentioned several days ago, the Italian brand and its armed wing AF Corse will be able to count on shock trios in Sarthe.

The world champions James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi will be supported on the 488 GTE n°51 by the Brazilian Daniel serra, winner of the event in 2017 in GTE Pro with Aston Martin Racing. On number 71, Sam Bird and Davide Rigon will be joined like last year by Miguel Molina.

It is on the No. 52 that we will find a new crew composed of the veteran Tony Wilander, associated this year, with Antonio Giovinazzi, third pilot Alfa Romeo Sauber F1, and to Luis Philip Derani, just crowned with his victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring in IMSA.

All will seek to bring a victory to Maranello which has been fleeing the Italian clan since 2014 in the category.
