24 Hours of Le Mans – H+20: the #91 Porsche in the fight against the Fords

While the “slow zone” located at the Tertre Rouge was withdrawn after an hour and a half, the fight rages for second place in the GTE Pro between the Porsche 911 RSR n°91 and the Ford GT n°6! And n°67. Frédéric Makowiecki retained second place in the category with a handful of seconds ahead of Sébastien Bourdais and Andy Priaulx, but the Frenchman made a slight error in the Porsche Corners, allowing the Briton to take the advantage even if the latter was unable to escape.

The ranking changed in LM P2 after the Ligier JS P217 of Panis Barthez Competition stopped due to a mechanical problem while the #23 occupied second place in the category behind the untouchable G-Drive #26 by Jean-Éric Vergne. The Idec Sport Racing Oreca 07 led by Paul-Loup Chatin completes the provisional podium in the category.

The Toyota remain alone at the top of the general classification, Fernando Alonso having a 1'20 lead over the No. 050 TS7 Hybrid of José-Maria Lopez. Reversal of positions at Rebellion with the No. 1 R-One of Bruno Senna on the provisional podium ahead of the No. 3 of Mathias Beche.
