24 Hours of Le Mans – H+6: Status quo in the lead

Constancy. This is the key word for the first places in each category after the first quarter of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018. Toyota still unquestionably dominates the general classification, with the TS050 Hybrid n°7 of José Maria Lopez, which has a lead of 3″ over Kamui Kobayashi which comes back strongly on the Argentinian.

Matevos Isaakyan follows in more than third position with the #1 – SMP Racing BR17 ahead of the two #13 and #3 Rebellion R1s of Gustavo Menezes and Neel Jani.

G-Drive Racing continues its momentum in LM P2, the No. 07 Oreca 26 of Roman Rusinov, which has a 3′ margin over the No. 217 Panis-Barthez Compétition Ligier JS P23 of Timothé Buret.

Paul-Loup Chatin (Oreca 07 n°48 – IDEC Sport) took third place from Pierre Thiriet (Alpine A470 n°36 – Signatech Alpine), who returned to the stands to give way to Nicolas lapierre, after spinning off at Arnage.

Note the exit from the track of Juan Pablo Montoya (Ligier JS P217 n°22 – United Autosports) at Indianapolis. The Colombian was able to leave and returned to the pits.

Michael Christensen (Porsche 911 RSR n°92) has a clear margin over the sister car n°93 of Patrick Pilet, with a margin of 2′. Pilet has just taken second place against the #8 BMW M81 of Martin Tomczyk.
