If Jack Leconte's team does not contest the WEC this season, the team based in Val de Vienne will however be at the start of the 2017 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans next June 17.
Larbre Compétition will enter a Corvette C7.R in GTE Am in Sarthe, entrusted to the trio Fernando Rees – Romain Brandela – Christian Philippon. The Brazilian, former pilot at Aston Martin Racing, is no stranger to the team, having already competed on the Corvette C6.R Larbre in the WEC in 2012 and 2013.
Romain Brandela will make his third start at Le Mans, but the first in GT, while Christian Philippon will double the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Road to Le Mans in the same weekend.
