A few days after confirming the commitment of a Ferrari 488 GTE to 24 Hours of Le Mans in GTE Am, Keating Motorsport and Risi Competizione have formalized the identity of the third driver who will support the duo Ben Keating – Jeroen Bleekemolen.
German Luca Stolz, 22, will drive the Italian GT in Sarthe on June 16 and 17. In recent years, Stolz has moved through the GT3 category in VLN, ADAC GT Masters, Blancpain GT Series, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and even in IMSA, regularly under the colors Mercedes or Lamborghini.
The Brachbach native also scored a podium (as well as the Pro-Am victory) at the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 R from Black Swan Racing a little over a week ago at the Bathurst 12 Hours in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, where he notably competed alongside Jeroen Bleekemolen.
« It's every driver's dream to race at Le Mans and for me it's no different, admits Stolz who will start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Even though I am very young, I have enormous experience in endurance and I feel ready for Le Mans. I'm really looking forward to it. »
Ferrari will be represented by five cars in the GTE Am category.
