24H. Le Mans – Risi Competizione confirms the Fisichella – Vilander duo

Unsurprisingly, Risi Competizione will renew its duo Toni Vilander – Giancarlo Fisichella this year for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Italian-Finnish pair, also aligned in IMSA on Ferrari 488 GTLM, will find the GTE transalpine on June 17 and 18 in Sarthe, and will aim to climb one place in the hierarchy after a 2016 edition finished in second place in GTE Pro.

Associated with Matteo Malucelli, Toni Vilander and Giancarlo Fisichella brilliantly took over from the official 488 AF Corse last year, to compete for victory with the Ford GTs of Chip Ganassi Racing.

Three times category winner at Le Mans (1998, 2008 and 2009), Giuseppe Risi's team has yet to reveal the identity of the third driver who will take part in the third round of the WEC 2017.
