25 entered for the 8 Hours of Bahrain
The 8th season of the world championship ends on November 14 in Sakhir during the 8 Hours of Bahrain. A final event whose field will be much less crowded than at Le Mans almost a month ago.
In fact, the organizers of the WEC ont publié la première liste provisoire des engagés pour les 8 Heures de Bahreïn. Une liste dans laquelle on retrouve 25 équipages. En LMP1, seul Toyota fera le déplacement à Manama, la capitale. Ne pouvant plus prétendre aux titres pilotes ou équipes, les autres participants de la catégorie ont décidé de ne pas s’y rendre.
In LMP2, only the number 33 of High Class Racing is missing. United Autosports, Sigantech Alpine or Jackie Chan DC Racing will indeed be present in Sakhir on November 14.
La catégorie GTE Pro sera représentée par 6 équipages, les deux 991 RSR-19 du Porsche GT Team, les Vantage AMR d’Aston Martin Racing and Ferrari 488 GTE EVO from AF Corse.
AF Corse, which is also found in GTE Am with the 488 GTE EVO, as well as the Red River Sport team, only enters one car. Category leader TF Sport will also be in Bahrain for the 8th season finale. Team Project 1, Dempsey Proton Racing and Gulf Racing will be there with their 911 RSR-19s.
