29 cars on the provisional Prologue list

The Prologue of WEC, an official test session organized before the start of the World Championship season scheduled for April 12 at Silverstone in England, will be contested on March 27 and 28 on the Paul Ricard track in Var. The first provisional list was revealed this Tuesday, and a total of 29 cars have so far been announced, for this first collective run of 2015.

In LM P1, Toyota, Audi and Porsche will put their two respective prototypes on track lined up for the entire calendar with the confirmed crews, unlike the team Nissan which is currently only announced with a single GT-R LM Nismo and four drivers: Olivier Pla, Marc Gené, Harry Tincknell and Michael Krumm.

No surprises in LM P2, notably with the Ligier JS P2s of G-Drive Racing and Oak Racing. Oreca will put its brand new 05 on track, which recently took to the track for a first test session. The GTE Pro and GTE Am grids will not be complete but Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche will be there.

You can find the provisional list of registrants for the WEC Prologue by clicking this link, and the official poster can be viewed here. Remember that Saturday 28 will be open to the public.
