The World Endurance Championship will see its grid reinforced for the second round of the season in the Ardennes at Spa.

30 entered in the 6 Hours of Spa

After the opening of the season last weekend at Silverstone, the World ChampionshipEndurance will head to Belgium and Spa-Francorchamps on May 6, for the second round of the year, and the final meeting before the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 17-18).

The LM P1 category will be able to count on the presence of the third Toyota TS050Hybrid, entrusted to Stéphane Sarrazin, Nicolas lapierre and Yuji Kunimoto, in addition to the two Japanese prototypes and the two Porsche 919 Hybrids entered year-round in WEC.

James Rossiter will once again be lined up in the CLM P1/01 of Team ByKolles, alongside Oliver Webb and Dominik Kraihamer.

In LM P2, Signatech Alpine will see the reinforcement of Romain Dumas to evolve on theAlpine Signatech A470 Alpine with Matt Rao and Gustavo Menezes. The other main change in the category is the arrival of a Ligier JS P217, with the Tockwith Motorsports example of Nigel Moore, Philip Hanson and Karun Chandhok taking on the Oreca 07s.

No change, however, in the GTE Pro and GTE Am categories.
