31 cars at the 6 Hours of Spa

There will be no question of a lazy weekend this August 15 in the Ardennes, but of a traditional preparation for the next 24 Hours of Le Mans (September 19-20) for competitors of the World ChampionshipEndurance WEC.

31 cars will be at the start of the 6 Hours of Spa in just under a month, with an entry list comprising only four LM P1s, with the two Toyota TS050 Hybrid, the Enso CLM P1/01 by ByKolles Racing (with Bruno Spengler and Tom Dillmann) and more than just one Rebellion R13, as we announced a few days ago.

Only the No. 1 winner of the 4 Hours of Shanghai and entrusted to Gustavo Menezes, Norman Nato and Bruno Senna will in fact be there, leaving Nathanaël Berthon, Louis Delétraz and Romain Dumas on the sidelines before the double clock tour at Le Mans. No trace of the Ginettas either.

No big changes in LM P2, with the absence of the Oreca 07 from DragonSpeed which had been there in Austin, compensated by the arrival of an Oreca 07 for Algarve Pro Racing, present in a reinforced manner in ELMS in 2020. Only John Falb is however confirmed on the Var prototype for the moment.

Eurasia Motorsport will also be in action with the only Ligier JS P217, entrusted to Nobuya Yamanaka, Daniel Gaunt and a third driver still to be made official.

The GTE Pro will bring together as usual the Porsche 911 RSR, the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo and the Aston Martin Vantage GTE, while the GTE Am peloton will see Côme Ledogar lined up in the No. 488 Ferrari 70 – MR Racing replacing Olivier Beretta. Augusto Farfus will be dispatched to the Aston Martin Vantage – Aston Martin Racing alongside Ross Gunn and Paul Dalla Lana, in preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
