36 cars on the provisional Silverstone entry list

The 6 Hours of Silverstone (August 17-19), third round of the 2018-2019 super-season WEC, will be able to count on a starting grid featuring 36 cars.

In the premier category of LM P1, only the crew of the Enso CLM P1/01 – Nismo n°4 of ByKolles Racing remains unknown to this day, Kraihamer – Dillmann – Webb having been lined up at Le Mans. Jenson Button continues his commitment with SMP Racing and will find the No. 1 BR11-AER of the Russian entity alongside Mikhail Aleshin and Vitaly Petrov.

Absent at Spa due to financial problems, but competing at Le Mans, the two Ginetta G60-LT-P1 – CEFC TRSM Racing are well listed with the crews already confirmed at the start of the year.

In LM P2, the main change comes from the arrival of Anthony Davidson, former starter within the Toyota Gazoo Racing, on the No. 07 Oreca 31 – Dragonspeed, which will support as announced earlier in the year, Pastor Maldonado and Roberto Gonzalez. Jan Lammers, present at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, is indeed replaced by Nyck de Vries in the #217 Dallara P29 – Racing Team Nederland.

In the GTE categories, no major changes are to be noted in the provisional entry list.
