6 Hours of Spa: With a 3rd Audi, but without Lotus and Millenium

Barely have the 6 Hours of Silverstone finished, the competitors in the world championshipEndurance are already focused on the 6 Hours of Spa, the second round, which will be held next week. Twenty-eight cars will be expected on the starting grid on Saturday, namely nine LM P1, five LM P2, six GTE Pro and eight GTE Am.

In the premier category, as planned, Audi will field a third R18 e-tron quattro for a duo bringing together the Italian Marco Bonanomi and the Portuguese Filipe Albuquerque. If Rebellion Racing should debut its R-Ones, the Lotus T129-AER will once again be conspicuous by its absence, just as was the case at Silverstone.

In LM P2, contrary to what it had announced, the Millenium Racing team will not be taking part in the slide in the Belgian Ardennes. It will therefore leave G-Drive Racing to scrap with KCMG, SMP Racing and a Jota Sport team usually entered in ELMS but who comes to prepare the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14-15).

As we announced to you yesterday, RAM racing has withdrawn its two Ferrari 458 Italia, No. 52 (GTE Pro) and No. 53 (GTE Am). In GTE Am, however, we will note the participation in the second round of the WEC of a third Ferrari AF Corse, the n°60 of the Casé-Gianmaria-Mann trio.
