Like the day before during the first Free Practice session, it was an LM P2 which dominated the second driving session of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. In Belgium, Team Penske (Dane Cameron, Emmanuel Collard, Felipe Nasr) set the best time this morning in 2:04.443. The American team beat the first Hypercar, also from across the Atlantic, the Glickenhaus 007 LMH n°708 (Olivier Pla, Romain Dumas, Pipo Derani) by only 0.021 seconds.

La Toyota No. 8 (Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, Ryo Hirakawa) took third place overall at 0.249. The sister car (Mike conway, Kamui Kobayashi, Jose Maria López) only finished sixth, in 2:05.128. For'Alpine A480 n°36 (Andre Negro, Nicolas lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere) we must go down to tenth place in the general classification with a lap in 2:05.477. In LM P2, the United Autosports USA #23 (Alexander Lynn, Oliver Jarvis, Joshua Pierson) and the Prema #9 (Robert Kubica, Louis Delétraz, Lorenzo Colombo) completed the category podium.
Porsche still at the top in GTE

The German manufacturer scored a double in LMGTE Am with the #46 of Team Project 1 (Matteo Cairoli, Mikkel Pedersen, Nicolas Leutwiler) in 2:15.604 ahead of the #77 of Dempsey – Proton Racing (Christian Ried, Sebastian Priaulx, Harry Tincknell).
