6H Imola: Peugeot leads after 1 hour of racing

Peugeot is currently leading the debates by monopolizing the first two places in the race ahead of Audi. Franck Montagny (908 n°8) overtook Allan McNish (Audi R18 n°2) after the first pit stops.

6H Imola: Peugeot leads after 1 hour of racing

At the end of the first salvo of the pit stops, Sébastien Bourdais (Peugeot 908 n°7) maintains the lead of the race ahead of Franck Montagny (908 n°8), who managed to overtake Marcel Fassler to gain second place. Peugeot thus places its two prototypes at the head of the 6 Hours of Imola, ahead of the No. 1 Audi and the No. 18 R2 of Allan McNish.

Neel Jani (Lola B10/60 no. 12 of Rebellion Racing) leads the petrol prototypes ahead of the Oak Racing no. 15 of Moreau. Chritophe Tinseau (Pescarolo n°16) is currently eighth in the ranking.

Firth (No. 46 TDS Racing Oreca) leads the LMP2 category after Kraihamer (No. 45 Oreca) made a mistake. The Boutsen Energy Racing driver was able to restart, but he gave way to the No. 26 Oreca from Signatech Nissan driven by Soheil Ayari.

Simon (Pegasus Racing) retains the lead in the FLM category.

BMW conserve la tête de la catégorie avec la M3 E92 n°55 de Jorg Muller en tête devant la n°56 de Jaime Melo. Armindo (Porsche 911 #67 Imsa Matmut Performance) leads the GTE AM.
