6H Silverstone – Starworks, HVM Status and Gulf Racing Middle East absent

There will be 31 cars, 21 teams representing 11 different countries and 89 drivers from six continents. The complete entry list for the 6 Hours of Silverstone has just been made public. Three absences in the LM P2 category and a team change in LM GTE should be noted.

In LM P2, the reigning champion team Starworks Mototsport has to skip the British event due to lack of budget. Peter Baron?s team, who wanted to participate in the entire season of WEC, has not yet specified whether it would be able to make its return for the second event of the year, during the 6 Hours of Spa. Despite the merger between HVM and Status GP, the Lola B12/80 enrolled under the HVM Status banner will not be there either. A participation in Spa is still hoped for. Gulf Racing Middle East had to give up on the 6 Hours of Silverstone following logistical problems but confirmed to AUTOhebdo that it will make its return at the Belgian round.

In the LM GTE category, Aston Martin Racing has just modified its Pro crews at the last moment. Although they were initially supposed to team up together, Bruno Senna and Fred Makowieki separated. The former pilot of F1 finds himself in the #97 Vantage GTE with last year's Shanghai winners Darren Turner and Stefan Mücke. The Frenchman will support Paul Dalla Anna and Pedro Lamy on the No. 99.

The 6 Hours of Silverstone will take place from April 12 to 14.
