Compared to this 2024 season, the 2025 grid of the WEC has undergone some changes, due among other things to the departure of certain manufacturers such as Lamborghini or to movements among the operating teams such as JOTA which will now collaborate with Cadillac and thus no longer be a customer team of Porsche.
This has therefore caused some transfers on the grid for the 2025 WEC season, which will start in Qatar next February with first the Prologue (February 21-22) and then the first round (February 28). Several examples deserve to be cited such as the arrival of Frédéric Makowiecki at Alpine from Porsche, that of Kevin Magnussen at BMW or the promotion of Malthe Jakobsen at Peugeot . Not forgetting the beginnings ofAston Martin with Harry Tincknell and Alex Riberas.
