Alex Brundle will finish the season with G-Drive

After seeing Nathanaël Berthon succeed one another at Silverstone and Spa (and a separation before Le Mans), then Will Stevens for the 24 Hours of Le Mans (with a second place in LM P2), G-Drive Racing will line up alongside Roman Rusinov and René Rast from the 6 Hours of the Nürburgring (July 24) alex brundle. The Briton had already been seen during the Test Day in Sarthe, within the team under the Russian flag.

The son of the former pilot F1 will return to a category that he knows well, notably having climbed to second position during the 24 2013 Hours of Le Mans and to the same rank in the championship that year. Brundle has so far driven in 2016, a Ligier JS P3 from United Autosports in ELMS, a championship that he dominates in the general classification after two consecutive successes at Silverstone and Imola.

“I am delighted to drive for G-Drive Racing with an incredibly capable package that has been put in place for this season, underlines the 25-year-old pilot. It will be a real privilege to work with the team, which has proven to be one of the best in endurance. With René's massive experience and the pace shown by Roman, I think we will have a strong combination, with the aim of achieving solid results for the rest of the season. »

G-Drive, like the Rusinov – Rast pair, is in second place in the LM P2 rankings, and will return to a circuit in Germany where a double podium rewarded the efforts of the team, which then fielded the Ligier JS P2s of Onroak Automotive.
