Alpine to the rediscovery of LMP2

To find traces of Signatech Alpine in LMP2, we have to go back to the 8 Hours of Bahrain 2020. At the time, the French structure was competing in its last race in the category before making the jump to Hypercar. A little over two years later, she is back in the second division of the Prototype while awaiting the birth of her LMDh scheduled for 2024.

If it is only a passage of a season, Alpine does not in any way neglect this category where it was crowned in 2016. It is for this reason that the Dieppe firm attaches great importance to the Sebring Prologue, which enters two Oreca 07s and welcomes new drivers like Olli Caldwell, former representative of the academy in F2, or Memo Rojas.

« Sebring always represents a huge challenge to start a new season, even more so by rediscovering a category as competitive as LMP2 as we are doing this year, highlights the main team Philippe Sinault.
