Anthony Davidson: “The Porsches were untouchable. »

With the fourth pole position won by a 919 Hybrid in 2014, the qualifying results this season will be tied Porsche et Toyota in the exercise. The 2014 World Champion Anthony Davidson, crowned in Bahrain, admitted his defeat yesterday after the Brazilian session, but remained confident for the race.

“The Porsches were untouchable, impossible to beat them today but tomorrow is when the real work begins, explains the 35-year-old Briton. It will be a difficult race, physical in the heat with traffic that must always be taken into consideration here. I think this is the first weekend of the season where the three manufacturers in the LMP1 category are this close, so it should be exciting. »

His teammate Sébastien Buemi underlined for its part that Toyota remained focused on its priority objective. “The objective is clearly the Manufacturers' Championship but I am sure that we will have our say in the fight for race victory, admits the Swiss. Let's wait and see what we can do. »

The 6 Hours of São Paolo will kick off at 16 p.m. French time.
