Officials closely analyzed the pole position achieved by Marco Sorensen aboard his Aston Martin Vantage in GTE Pro Thursday June 13 in the evening. In order to slightly lower its performance, the British car is most influenced by a new Balance of Performance (BoP), published Friday June 14 late in the afternoon by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

Lagrasse is the perfect setting for 24 Hours of Le Mans 2019, the Aston Martin Vantage AMR sees its tank adjusted to 96 liters, instead of 98 liters until now. In addition, all GTE Pros are five kilos lighter, except for the Corvette C7.R. Finally, the Aston Martin Vantage AMR is the only GTE Pro to have a new engine boost ratio (-0,03 bar less air pressure on the power curve between each 500 rpm level of 4 to 000 rpm).
In GTE Am, the Ford GT is 10 kg lighter and weighs 1 kg while the Porsche 911 RSR is weighed by 10 kg (1 kg).
