Audi in the lead, Porsche accumulates

After the traditional post-24 Hours of Le Mans, most of the teams entered in the World ChampionshipEndurance took part yesterday and today in two days of testing organized on the German Nürburgring, which will host the fourth round of the WEC.

Nearly 1000 km have been covered by the company with the rings.

At Porsche, we accumulated the laps, since a total of 1275 km were accomplished by Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley yesterday (645 km) and Romain Dumas and Marc Liec today (630 km), on this new route for the WEC.

“For the drivers, it was an important experience to be here with the 919, explains Team Principal Andreas Seidl. We worked on the car settings and hybrid management for this particular track. Also playing in the wet on Monday was a useful exercise for everyone. »

In LM P2, for its first outing with its Gibson 015S which will now replace the Dome S103 for the end of the season, Strakka Racing dominated the category, while in GTE, the best times were set by Porsche with the no. 91 of Team Manthey in Pro, and the n°88 of Abou Dhabi-Proton Racing in Am.
