  • Ferrari placed its three cars in the top five for a second consecutive session, but unlike the first session of the day, Free Practice 2 at Lone Star Le Mans saw the two Prancing Horse officials score a double.
  • The best time went to Antonio Giovinazzi in 1:52.268. The Italian beat his compatriot Antonio Fuoco by 0.052 seconds.
  • The #8 BMW M Hybrid V20 took a fine third place through Robin Frijns, 0.115 seconds off the best time. The German prototype nevertheless ended its session prematurely by causing a red flag after going off the track which was apparently the result of a wheel coming off.
  • Alex Lynn completed the top five for Cadillac, behind the No. 5 AF Corse Ferrari.
  • On the side of French manufacturers, Alpine took 12th and 14th place. Both Peugeot finished in 16th and 18th place.
  • Daniel Juncadella was the fastest in the GT3 class at the wheel of the No. 06 TF Sport Corvette Z82 with a lap of 2:05.630.
  • The Spaniard finished ahead of the two Ferrari GT3s of Alessio Rovera and Davide Rigon.
  • Join us at 18:00 p.m. (French time) this Saturday for Free Practice 3 of Lone Star Le Mans.
