Benoît Treluyer: “A dream”

At the start of the 24 2009 Hours of Le Mans with a Peugeot 908 HDi FAP entered by Pescarolo Sport, Benoît Treluyer changes colors for this new season. He will drive an Audi R15 TDI alongside André Lotterer and Marcel Fässler.

“It's a dream come true,” comments the former Super GT Champion in Japan. “I would never have imagined finding a place in a factory team for Le Mans upon my return from Japan. I will meet my best friend André Lotterer and be associated with Marcel Fässler with whom I started in Formula Campus. It couldn't have looked better. »

Benoit Treluyer has already participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times, with a fourth place for best classification in 2004.

“We have a car capable of winning. Before signing my contract, I had a trial session with the team. The way they work and Audi's attitude are what I'm looking for,” he adds.

Before starting the 24 Hours, the team will prepare by participating in the 1000 kilometers of Spa-Francorchamps.
