Bourdais: “An intense and difficult race”

The four-time Champion Champcar expects an even more intense rivalry with the German manufacturer. “This 79th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is likely to be even tighter than previous races,” he adds. “The gaps will be very small. I'm expecting an intense and difficult race. »

Sébastien Bourdais is not worried about the reliability of the new 908, even if he knows that anything can happen. “We did a lot of testing to prepare for the 24 Hours”, confirms the pilot Peugeot Sport. “The work upstream was well done, but we can never rule out anything. The car's youth forced us to be even more rigorous in terms of reliability. »
