ByKolles absent in 2019-20 to focus on Hypercar

It has been in the works for several months, the information is now official this Friday June 14: ByKolles Racing wishes to develop a road Supercar, with the aim of producing a version adapted to the Hypercar regulations of the World Championship. endurance (WEC) 2020-21.

The Austro-Romanian team wishes to unveil the Supercar and Hyperbare to the public on the sidelines of the 2020 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (Sarthe, June 13-14). Officially, the development of the two cars requires all the human and technical resources of the team, which has the effect of removing the ByKolles Enso LM P1 Non-Hybrid prototype from the 2019-20 entry list.

However, according to our information, it was the WEC selection committee which refused the participation of the ByKolles Enso LM P1 in 2019-20, due to a limited number of entries in the overseas rounds of the calendar.

ByKolles will still be able to enter the prototype during European meetings including Le Mans in 2020.
