At the end of three days (December 18-20) of tests carried out on the Almeria track in Spain, ByKolles Racing concluded its 2017 year with a final run for its CLM P1/01 in preparation for the 2018 Super-Season -2019 from WEC.
This final session follows the other sessions completed in September and November. For the occasion, the Frenchman Tom Dillmann, already seen during the two previous runs, was accompanied by Oliver Webb, Pierre Kaffer, Paolo Ruberti and the Chinese Ling Kang, regular in GT events, and who was making his debut in an LM prototype P.
These tests made it possible to complete the equivalent of a distance of three races. Aerodynamic developments and engine mapping of the V6 Nismo have been successfully implemented.
ByKolles Racing must enter the WEC next year and will be part of the LM P1 peloton, alongside the Toyota Gazoo Racing, SMP Racing, Rebellion Racing and Manor.
