If no changes were to be noted in the initial calendar for the 2026 World Championship seasonEnduranceThis plan was ultimately disrupted by the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, with the outbreak of armed conflict in the region on February 28th. The season opening, initially scheduled for Qatar, will now take place in Italy, with a Prologue at Imola on April 14th followed by the 6 Hours of Imola on April 19th. The 1812 km Qatar race has been rescheduled for October 24th and will now be the penultimate event of the season before the 8 Hours of Bahrain.
