Charouz will return to OAK Racing at Le Mans

Jan Charouz is currently competing in Formula Renault 3.5 Series with Gravity Charouz Racing and holds the position of reserve driver within Lotus-Renault GP. But the Czech wants to further diversify his program and will drive the #2 OAK Racing LMP49 alongside Shinji Nakano and Nicolas De Crem during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

2009 Le Mans Series Champion with Aston Martin Racing, the Czech is obviously happy to be reunited with the team with which he reached the 2nd step of the LMP2 podium in June 2010 (7th place in the general classification) alongside Matthieu Lahaye and Guillaume Moreau. “ I am very happy to participate again this year in a race as famous as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will be an honor for me to drive an OAK-Pescarolo LMP2 », confirms Jan Charouz.

« OAK Racing is a very professional team, capable of fielding a car to compete for victory. My teammates are fast and experienced and I am convinced that we can achieve a very good result. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is an exceptional event and I can’t wait to be there! », assures the Czech.
