Five Ferraris in the GTE Am category in WEC

The 2021 season of WEC will include several changes to Ferrari in GTE Am. If reigning champions François Perrodo and Nicklas Nielsen will put their title on the line in the No. 83, this time they will be accompanied by Alessio Rovera, Italian GT champion, instead of Emmanuel Collard.

The second AF Corse car will be driven by Giancarlo Fisichella, Thomas Flohr and Francesco Castellacci. The crew will begin their third season in the championship and will look to finally reach the podium.

The two classic Ferraris will be accompanied by new ones. Accustomed to LM P2, Cetilar Racing moves to GTE Am with Roberto Lacorte at the wheel and two other Italian drivers, not yet confirmed.

After winning the Michelin Le Mans Cup and enjoyed several successes in ELMS, the Italian Iron Lynx team is making its world championship debut with two 488 GTEs and will be aiming for major results. Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni and Andrea Piccini will take to the track in the #60 Ferrari. The second unit, number 85, will be entrusted to the ‘Iron Dames’ Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Manuela Gostner who are also moving from the ELMS to the WEC.
