Race 1 Road To Le Mans – Victory for DKR Engineering and FFF Racing Team

Second on the starting grid, the number 3 of DKR Engineering took victory in Race 1 of the Road To Le Mans 2020. A race that was decided closely since the first four crossed the finish line with only 3-5 seconds apart. The Swiss team Cool racing managed to place its numbers 37 and 69 on the podium just ahead of the 7 from Nielsen Racing.

On the other hand, huge disillusionment on the side of United Motorsports. If the number 24 managed to gain three places and finish 5th at the finish, the 23, starting from pole, only went 6th under the checkered flag, more than 58 seconds behind the winners.

In GT3, it was the FFF Racing Team which got the best of everyone. Victory went to the number 63 of the Caldarelli/Hamaguchi duo. The two drivers dominated the proceedings without too much difficulty.

The 63 crossed the finish line 16 seconds ahead of the number 8 Iron Lynx of the Piccini/Mastronardi duo. There Ferrari 488 GT3 No. 74 from Kessel Racing came third, just over a second behind second.

The start of Race 2 of the 2020 Road To Le Mans will be given at 13:15 p.m. this Sunday, just before that of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
