Never change a winning team. At Jota Sport, we understand this very well. The champion team in LM P2 last season will keep two of its drivers for the new adventure in Hypercar, in the world championship ofEndurance (WEC). Si Yifei Ye, official driver Porsche, was made official at Jota last November, Will Stevens and Antonio Felix da Costa will remain with the British team to drive the new Porsche 963, as announced by AUTOhebdo for several months.
Winners of 24 Hours of Le Mans in LM P2 last year, Will Stevens and Antonio Felix da Costa led Jota to the title in 2022, accompanied by Roberto Gonzalez. Logically, Jota has decided to keep his duo for his arrival in the premier category of Endurance, while the team will operate a private Porsche 963. Moreover, the Portuguese had joined the Stuttgart manufacturer for the championship of Formula E. “In recent years we have achieved great results together, so I am delighted to return to the team, Da Costa said.We are moving into the Hypercar category with a whole new set of partners supporting us and I can't wait to get behind the wheel of our new Hertz-Jota car. »

Two Jotas in LM P2 while waiting for the Porsche 963
Due to supply delays, the Hertz-Jota team's Porsche is expected to join the WEC for the third round of the series, at Spa-Francorchamps, on April 29. While awaiting its entry into the Hypercar race, Jota has confirmed that the Ye-Stevens-Da Costa team will drive an LM P2 in the colors of its new sponsor Hertz at Sebring in March and at Portimão in April.
“Our team of Antonio, Will and Yifei is a blend of speed, experience and youthful exuberance, rejoiced Sam Hignett and David Clark, directors of the Jota stable. We have had success in recent years, and as one of the only private entrants in the Hypercar category, we will rise to the challenge of our manufacturer counterparts. » The Jota-Porsche's livery will be revealed in "due time", according to the team's statement.
