The Rebellion team is extremely original in the decoration of its R-13 prototypes for 24 Hours of Le Mans 2019 (Sarthe, June 15-16). The two cars in the LM P1 Non-Hybrid category will benefit from a new livery, created in collaboration with the artist Tomyboy.
The latter, founder of the RocketByz brand, is distinguished by the use of flashy colors on luxury objects and cars, generally unaccustomed to these bright shades.
“Why fall in line when you were born to stand out, this is the description that stands out for both RocketByz and Rebellion, explains the artist. Uncompromising in creating and designing unique and limited works of art is the common underlying strength that adds the extra to this extraordinary partnership. Creativity is the greatest rebellion there is. »
Spectators present in Sarthe will be able to easily distinguish the two Rebellions. No. 1, piloted by André Lotterer, Bruno Senna and Neel Jani keeps a carbon black dress, while n°3 of Thomas Laurent, Gustavo Menezes and Nathanaël Berthon will have a white base.
“Tomyboy has his own trademark with a unique artistic soul using fluorescent colors to allow everyone to enjoy art in every moment, boasts Alexandre Pesci, President and owner of Rebellion Corporation. It’s bright, it’s flashy and it’s positive! We were looking for an artistic concept that was as colorful as possible. »
