Dominik Kraihamer joins Rebellion Racing

Dominik Kraihamer will drive a Rebellion R-One this season in the WEC. The Austrian took his first steps in LMP1 with Oak Racing.

Dominik Kraihamer joins Rebellion Racing

After spending a season in LMP2 at the wheel of a Lotus T128, Dominik Kraihamer will return to the premier category of the WEC by joining Rebellion Racing which will field two new R-Ones. The 24-year-old Austrian is the fourth confirmed driver within the Swiss team out of the six who will be lined up. The former Oak Racing resident will join Nick Heidfeld, Mathias Beche et Nicholas Prost previously confirmed.

Dominik Kraihamer has good experience inEndurance. After discovering the discipline at the wheel of an Oreca 03 fielded by Boutsen Ginion Racing in ELMS, the native of Oberndorf competed in LMP1 in the Oak Pescarolo 01 before dropping down to LMP2 last year with Lotus. The Austrian brings with him the financial partner Eat the Ball which sponsored the T128s last year.
