When did you have contact with Glickenhaus?
Two years ago, at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. I appreciate projects that are out of the ordinary, carried out with passion by a small group, and I went to take a look at their car on the grid. I had just completed a tour with the VW ID R and James (Glickenhaus. Editor's note) then came upon me, telling me that we needed to talk. He quickly mentioned this LMH project and we have always kept in touch ever since.
Joining the @Glickenhaus team for the # LeMans24 program with the LMH007 in Hypercar class. New prototype in a new class; it will be for sure very interesting. This is always it in the first year. I will bring my experience among drivers who know well Endurance. pic.twitter.com/iPCF6LW5pA

It’s a daring project…
That is certain, but it is carried out very seriously. Pipo Motors is a reference in its field of expertise, the car benefited from the Sauber wind tunnel which is one of the most renowned and Joest Racing will give us the benefit of its equipment and experience.
All the choices made are wise. I have visited their workshops (in Turin. Editor’s note) several times and what they do is quite impressive. Few people on the grid show as much enthusiasm as James and it's very motivating.
Do you think you can tickle Toyota ?
What is certain is that James gives himself the means to achieve his ambitions. As proof, I look to the recruited pilots. But I know too well how much the challenge of participating in 24 Hours of Le Mans with a brand new car is complicated, even for a large manufacturer. We are tackling a mountain. The challenge is probably even greater than those I face with my team (RD Limited. Editor's note).
