FP3 – Toyota ahead of Rebellion at Silverstone

Team LNT, Team Project-1, several cars appeared in poor shape during the third and final free practice session of the 4 Hours of Silverstone, opening round of the WEC 2019-2020. But at the top of the timesheet, we always find the Toyota Gazoo Racing.

The TS050 Hybrid n°8 Buemi-Hartley-Nakajima set a time of 1'37"014 allowing him to be ahead of the Rebellion R0 n°398 by 0"936 and 13"3 respectively (Duval-Derani-Berthon) and n°1 (Nato-Menezes-Senna). The leading quarter is completed by the second Toyota, while the two Ginettas are 1”4 and 1”7 behind.

United Autosports (Di Resta-Albuquerque-Hanson) continues to dominate LM P2 thanks to a time of 1'41"271. The No. 22 Oreca is ahead of the No. 29 of Racing Team Nederland (Van der Gard-Van Eerd-Van Uitert) and the No. 37 of Jackie Chan DC Racing (Aubry-Stevens-Tung).

In GTE Pro, Ferrari took the advantage thanks to the No. 488 51 GTE Evo of Calado-Pier Guidi, but the first Porsche, the n°91 of Bruni-Lietz, is only at 0 »093 and the best Aston Martin (the n°95 of Sorensen-Thiim) at 0 »169.

The prancing horse firm strikes a double blow by also rising to the top of the hierarchy in GTE Am thanks to the No. 83 of Perrodo-Collard-Nielsen, also operated by AF Corse

Qualifying will begin at 12:50 p.m. French time.
