- Who will stop Ferrari this season? Imperial since the start of this 2025 financial year, the Italian manufacturer has secured a third pole position in as many rounds of the WEC this year. After Antonio Giovinazzi in the No. 51 in Qatar and Imola, it was Antonio Fuoco who proved to be the fastest this Friday in Hyperpole at Spa-Francorchamps. The Italian set a lap of 1:59.617 to put the No. 50 on pole position.
- Fuoco finished 83 seconds ahead of Robert Kubica (AF Corse Ferrari No. 0.347). They were the only two drivers to set a sub-two-minute time in this session. Giovinazzi completed Ferrari's display with third place.
- Peugeot has been in the lead since the start of the weekend and Stoffel Vandoorne took advantage of this to set the fourth best time of this Hyperpole, in front of his home crowd, with the No. 9 8X94. Alex Lynn completed the top 5 for Cadillac.
- Mick Schumacher placed the first Alpine in sixth place, ahead of the Peugeot No. 93 of Jean-Eric Vergne. The second Alpine, the n°35, also qualified in Hyperpole with the ninth place of Charles Milesi.
- Having gone wide two minutes from the end of the first phase, Kévin Estre seriously damaged the right back of his Porsche 963 No. 6. 12th, the Frenchman was eliminated during the first phase of qualifying, as was his teammate Julien Andlauer, 13th in the No. 5. No Porsche made it to Hyperpole, as Nicolas Varrone finished 14th for Proton Competition.
- This is a session to forget for Toyota, since the two cars of the Japanese manufacturer finished only in 15th and 16th place, ahead of only the two Aston Martin Valkyrie

- The French teams secured the front row of the GT3 class. German Finn Gehrsitz set the Akkodis ASP Team's No. 78 Lexus RC F in 2:17.732. This was the first pole for a car from the Japanese manufacturer in the WEC, as well as for the Akkodis team. Edurardo Barrichello set the second fastest time of the session in the No. 10 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin Vantage AMR, 0.276 seconds behind.
- This is the first pole for a French team in GT since Larbre aux 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2017.
- Ben Tuck completed the podium, placing the first Ford Mustang, the No. 77, in third place ahead of his teammate Giammarco Levorato in the marque's second car at the oval.
- The two Corvettes, the two McLaren and both Mercedes failed to qualify for Hyperpole, nor did the Iron Dames.
