It is impossible to evoke the history of 24 Hours of Le Mans not to mention Ford. The legendary GT40 left its mark on the Le Mans event by dominating the competition from 1966 to 1969, ending the hegemony of Ferrari (see following pages). After this triumph, the American brand experienced ups and downs in Endurance, but his return in 2016 with the Ford GT reminded everyone of his ability to shine in La Sarthe.
