Gérard Neveu will leave the general management of LMEM at the end of 2020

It's the end of an era for the World ChampionshipEndurance. Gérard Neveu, general director of Le Mans Endurance Management and by extension WEC, will leave office on December 31, 2020.

The person concerned wishes to redirect his career towards new horizons after having presided over the destiny of world and European endurance with theELMS for nine years.

“I think it is time for me to pass the baton and allow the establishment of a new lease of life under the leadership of Pierre Fillon, specifies Gérard Neveu. Superb pages will open in a few months with the arrival of the LMH and the LMDh and I have no doubt of the successes to come for these championships under the ACO label.

Until then, I will work to finish the 2020 season as best as possible. It will then come time for me to chart another personal trajectory in 2021. It was an intense and exciting mission entrusted to me by Automobile. Club de l'Ouest and it was a source of great pride to conduct these championships under the aegis of the ACO and the FIA. »
