Ghiotto launches with Ginetta

Luca Ghiotto will compete in his first race in WEC by participating in the 6 Hours of Fuji (Japan) on October 6. The UNI-Virtuosi Racing resident in F2 will be entered in the No. 60 Ginetta G1-LT-P5 alongside Ben Hanley and Egor Orudzhev, an LMP1 that he discovered during the Prologue which was held on July 23 and 24 at the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona.

“We are delighted to welcome Luca for the Japanese round. He's a real talent who loved the car during the Prologue (in Barcelona) but couldn't come with us to Silverstone due to a clash of dates with F2, explained Team LNT owner Lawrence Tomlinson. With the abilities of Ben and Egor, I am sure that we will be able to exploit even more potential of the Ginetta AER on a circuit that will suit the car with a good top speed. »

Charlie Robertson will be in the No. 6 sister car alongside Mike Simpson and Guy Smith, replacing Chris Dyson.
