Giancarlo Fisichella in GTE Am with Spirit of Race

Expected at the 24 Hours of Mans in one of the three Ferrari 488 GTE entered by AF Corse in GTE Pro, Giancarlo Fisichella will ultimately compete the entire 2018-2019 season of WEC in the GTE Am category, on the No. 488 Ferrari 54 GTE entered by Spirit of Race. The Italian will support his compatriot Francesco Castellacci and the Swiss Thomas Flohr, fourth in the championship last year.

The man with 229 departures F1 therefore makes his return to the WEC after having gone to defend the interests of Ferrari and Risi Competizione in IMSA. In eight starts at 24 Hours of Le Mans, he has five podiums in GTE Pro including two victories, gleaned in 2012 and 2014.
