As he will celebrate his 46th birthday on the very day of the season opener, on February 28, the Le Mans native will compete in his first full season in the WEC premier class with the Hertz Team JOTA team, Cadillac's new partner. A team whose way of working has already impressed the Frenchman.

Sébastien, what is your state of mind before tackling this new season? Do you think you are starting a new adventure with the Jota team or is it a continuation of what you experienced with Cadillac?

It’s a logical next step with great prospects. Jota is a great team and the car clearly has potential. There are lots of great things to come, but also a lot of unknowns and work. It’s very exciting to be part of this new adventure.

How did the discussions go? Was it impossible to continue with Cadillac in IMSA with the change of stable (the manufacturer
