H12: Peugeot can aim for a double

The positions remain frozen at the top of the LMP1 standings. At three in the morning, halfway through the race, the leading trio is still the same: Peugeot n°9, Audi n°1, Peugeot n°8. But the battle rages on. The cars are not far from each other and the slightest technical problem or leaving the track can be fatal. However, Stéphane Sarrazin performed a superb stint to bring the No. 8 back to the wheels of the Audi. At 3:20, he took advantage of a stop by Allan Mc Nish, who handed the wheel to Dindo Capello, to take second place from him.

Another Frenchman shows all his speed, simon pagenaud. In this numerically unequal fight, Porsche manages to place a 997 GT3 RSR in fourth position. It’s the French team Imsa Performance Matmut which places its No. 76 at the foot of the GT2 podium.

In LMP2, the Essex team's Porsche RS Spyder continues to outrageously dominate the category. At mid-race, the Elgaard-Collard-Poulsen crew was more than three laps ahead of the other Spyder, from Navi Team Goh.
