H14: violent accident for Tréluyer

Following this accident, which completely destroyed the Pescarolo team's 908, the firefighters immediately went to the scene to extract Benoit Tréluyer from his car. The driver had returned to his pits shortly after this accident. The 908 had received new bodywork elements. It was shortly after this long stop at the Pescarolo pit that Benoit Tréluyer crashed violently in the Tertre rouge corner. Her car found itself completely destroyed. The firefighters, upon their arrival on site, had a tarpaulin installed so that the scene could not be seen. In all likelihood, the native of Alençon is doing well.

The safety car remained on the track for a long time, in order to evacuate the car. According to information from the commissioners, Benoit Tréluyer is conscious and has been evacuated to hospital. At the time of the restart, a little over ten hours before the end of the race, the cars resumed their intense fight. It is the queen of the disciplines which offers the most suspense with a podium certainly well established, but with cars relatively close to each other. In LMP2, the Porsche RS Spyder from the Essex team largely dominates its rivals, like in LMGT1, where the Ferrari 430 of Rizi Competizione is two laps ahead of that of JMW Motorsport.
