H+15: day has dawned over Le Mans

LMP1
La Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°2 of the French trio Minassian, Montagny, Sarrazin? M&M?S as they are nicknamed? still holds the lead. The car led the race all night and is more than a lap and a half ahead of the No. 15 Audi R9 TDI of Timo Bernhard and the No. 8 of Benoit Tréluyer. In fourth position, the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°1 of Marc Gené still hopes for the podium. Sixth, the 908 Oreca of Nicolas lapierre has 1?20?? behind its predecessor, the No. 15 Audi R7 TDI from Dindo Capello.

It is not clear what could prevent the Honda from moving forward. The HPD ARX-01c occupy the first two places in the category. And behind, everyone is far away. If there are no reliability issues, then no one will see them again. Mathieu Lahaye, in the No. 35 Pescarolo-Judd, holds on to his third place.

GT1
The elimination race helped the Saleen S7R take control of the class in the middle of the night. The No. 60 Matech Competition Ford GT died after 13 hours of racing due to engine failure. As a result, the Saleen S7R is in the lead and can win, even if a return of the Corvette C6R from Luc Alphand Aventures cannot be ruled out.

GT2
Derrière les deux Corvette, les Porsche 997 des teams Felbermayr Proton et d?IMSA Performance can continue to hope to return to the forefront.
