The No. 6 Toyota of Stéphane Sarrazin took the lead at Le Mans by completing longer stints than the No. 1 Porsche.

H+7: Toyota takes the lead against Porsche

Stéphane Sarrazin takes the lead at Le Mans after the sixth hour. There Toyota n°6 took the advantage over the Porsche n°1 of Timo Bernhard thanks to his one-lap longer stints and keeps pace with the 919 Hybrid. The gap is eight seconds between the two LMP1s.

Kazuki Nakajima completes the top three in the #050 TS5 Hybrid ahead of the #2 Porsche of Neel Jani. Lucas di Grassi continues his effort in fifth position at the wheel of the No. 8 Audi which remains on the leader's lap.

The fight continues in LMP2 between theAlpine No. 36 of Stéphane Richelmi and the No. 46 of TDS Racing now driven by Pierre Thiriet. KCMG completes the leading trio with Tsugio Matsuda in the No. 47.

Manor suffered a hard setback with the return to the garage of the No. 44 which continued to lose positions after having moved to the top positions. The team changes the starter of the Oreca 05.

The Ford GTs maintain the advantage in GTE Pro. The No. 68 retains the lead with Sébastien Bourdais which precedes the sister car #69 of Scott Dixon by a handful of seconds. There Ferrari n°82 of the Risi Competizione follows the second car from Detroit by around ten seconds. The 911 RSR from Abu Dhabi Proton regained control in GTE Am with Khaled Al Qubaisi.
