The second free practice session ended prematurely following an accident between the #908 9 of Pedro Lamy and the HPD ARX-01d RML of Mike Newton. Audi sets the three best times.

ILMC: Audi dominates, Peugeot on the lookout.

Peugeot is having an eventful day of free practice. If the 908s were behind the Audi R18s, it is above all the accident between Pedro Lamy (908 n°9) and Mike Newton (HPD ARX-01d RML) which will remain the highlight of the day. Both cars are badly damaged, and the teams have their work cut out to try to get them back into shape for tomorrow's qualifying.

Audi achieved a nice group shot by placing its three R18s in the first places of the session. The No. 2 of Benoît Tréluyer set the best time of the day (2:03:124) while the first Peugeot (the No. 9 which was involved in the accident) achieved the 4th time.

In LMP2, the best time is to the credit of Karim Ojjeh on the Zytek Z11SN? Nissan from the Greaves Motorsport team, while in GTE Pro, it was Rob Bell who stood out at the wheel of his JMW Motorsport F458 Italia.
