InterEuropol reveals its 2021 crew

InterEuropol Competition will be able to count on Alex Brundle and Renger van der Zande to support Kba Smiechowski in the WEC in 2021. Helio Castroneves will replace van der Zande for the season opener at Sebring.

InterEuropol reveals its 2021 crew

Accustomed toELMS these last years, InterEuropol Competition will cross the threshold of WEC in 2021 with an Oreca 07 LM P2. The Polish team will then be able to count on a leading crew for the world campaign with alongside the regular Kuba Smeichowski, two big names in the person of Alex Brundle and Renger van der Zande.

Passed by United Autosports in 2020, Brundle is an experienced driver in the category, while Renger van der Zande competes both in GT with Honda (Intercontinental GT Challenge) and in prototype in IMSA (Wayne Taylor Racing) and at Le Mans (under the DragonSpeed ​​banner).

Two reference drivers therefore for InterEuropol who will however have to make a first crew change from the opening of the championship at Sebring on March 19, since Renger van der Zande will be retained by Chip Ganassi Racing for the 12 Hours of Sebring, organized the same weekend as part of IMSA.

Helio Castroneves, three-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 and reigning IMSA champion, will be requisitioned for the occasion.
